Our activities!

1. Sanitation and Solid Waste Management:

Enfogal has been actively
engaged in grassroots initiatives focused on fostering social behavioral change
since its establishment. These initiatives include the "No to Litter" campaign,
promoting innovation through waste utilization (e.g., repurposing waste into
Christmas trees), participation in Swachh Bharat Diwas, adapting Satyagraha to
Swachchagraha in Bihar, promoting the "My Izzat, My Ghar" campaign,
observing World Toilet Day, participating in the trash tag challenge, organizing
seminars on waste management, and conducting FTK training and sustainable
ODF programs. All these activities were specifically designed to address visible
and experienced issues at the district level. The involvement of youth and
students has significantly influenced the outcomes of these initiatives, as their
direct participation and awareness have contributed to creating a healthier
environment. Furthermore, this engagement has helped cultivate a new paradigm
of sustainability, preparing the younger generation to become responsible
stewards of our environment.

2. Wildlife Conservation

A variety of outreach and recreational activities have
been implemented to underscore the crucial role of wildlife in preserving

ecological balance and their deep-rooted traditional and cultural significance.
These initiatives also seek to forge a strong bond between human communities
and wildlife to ensure peaceful coexistence. Nature walks offer participants a
firsthand experience of the diverse flora and fauna, while birdwatching activities
provide an opportunity to observe various bird species in their natural habitats.
Additionally, nature camps provide an immersive experience for participants to
appreciate and understand the natural environment. The introduction of night
trails allows for nocturnal wildlife observation, offering unique insights into the
behaviors of creatures that are active after dark. Finally, the deployment of
camera trapping provides an innovative method to monitor and study wildlife
populations in their natural surroundings. These initiatives collectively contribute
to a more profound understanding of wildlife and the natural world.

3. Environmental campaign

The district is currently grappling with a range of
pressing environmental issues, serving as a stark reminder of the potential hazards
posed to both humans and the environment due to prevailing ignorance. In response,
numerous events and activities have been launched to raise public awareness and
instigate fundamental changes in social behavior. These initiatives actively involve
the participation of youths and students to ensure the most positive outcomes
possible. Among the many implemented programs are environmental poster
campaigns, efforts to preserve forests and water, initiatives aimed at promoting
awareness regarding the use of agrochemical pesticides and insecticides, workshops
focused on building resistance to climate change, and the organization of seminars.
